DOORBELL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Mobile, outpatient OT helping older adults stay safe, confident, and independent at home.
WHAT IS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY?

Occupational Therapy (OT) helps you engage in everyday activities that make life meaningful.
In healthcare, an "occupation" simply means anything you want or need to do, such as getting out of bed, getting dressed, preparing meals, or enjoying your favorite hobbies.
An occupational therapist works with you to find solutions that build health, confidence, and independence by focusing on your ability to participate in the activities that matter most to you.
HOW OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CAN HELP YOU
Occupational therapy helps you stay independent, safe, and functional in your daily life. Through individualized evaluation and treatment, an OT helps you build strength, improve mobility, and adapt your environment or routines to better meet your needs. The focus is always on supporting your ability to participate in the meaningful activities that make up your day.

FAQs
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes! Medicare and most major insurance plans are accepted, often with little to no out of pocket costs.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND PHYSICAL THERAPY?
OT and PT both help people regain function and independence. In fact, we often work together to maximize results!
While both may address strength, mobility, and balance, OT focuses on how these skills support everyday activities and function. OTs also use strategies like adapting the environment, teaching alternative techniques, or recommending assistive devices to make tasks safer and easier.
